Zoe Vanderveen is on the run with her captor turned rescuer, Noah Brody.
They're in love.
Or at least that’s what he tells
her. Her memories have returned but her feelings are dreamlike—thin and
fleeting. Her heart can’t be trusted. Just look at what happened with Taylor
Blake.
Senator Vanderveen’s new team of
cyborg agents are in hot pursuit, and a reward for their capture is broadcast nationwide.
Record breaking cold and snow hinder their escape. Someone dies helping them.
To celebrate Lee Strauss is giving away a $200.00 Amazon, Nook or itunes gift card!

VOLITION is the exciting continuation of Noah and Zoe's story from Perception.
Eternal Life is To Die For
Seventeen year old Zoe Vanderveen is a GAP—a genetically altered person. She lives in the security of a walled city on prime water-front property along side other equally beautiful people with extended life spans.
Seventeen year old Zoe Vanderveen is a GAP—a genetically altered person. She lives in the security of a walled city on prime water-front property along side other equally beautiful people with extended life spans.
Her brother Liam is missing.
Noah Brody is a natural who lives on the outside. He leads protests against
the GAPs and detests the widening chasm they’ve created between those who have
and those who don’t. He doesn’t like
girls like Zoe and he has good reason not to like her specifically.
Zoe’s carefree life takes a traumatic turn. She’s in trouble and it turns out that Noah,
the last guy on earth she should trust, is the only one who can help her.

I haven't read Perception but both books have piqued my curiosity and I have added them to my TBR list.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the giveaway, it is very generous.

I havent read Preception, but I do think gen altered person could be trusted, of course that would also depend on how they were altered.

I haven't read perception either.
ReplyDeleteI have not read Perception, but I am always up to trying new authors.
ReplyDeleteHaven't read Perception yet.

I have not read perception but this series totally sounds like something I'd read! I'm a complete SF junkie! As far as the second part of the question - it depends, I'm not sure genetic alterations make one less trustworthy, but I'd have to read the story to really understand it.
ReplyDeleteLove it! I'll have to add yet another to the TBR pile. Congrats!
ReplyDeleteI haven't read Perceptions. I don't think genetically altered *anything* can be trusted...

I haven't read either book so I'm definitely adding them to my Goodreads shelves. I love, love, love the covers. Truly stunning!
ReplyDeleteAs for whether a genetically altered person can be trusted I think it just depends on the person and what kind of alterations were made. Scary thoughts though being genetically altered.
DeleteI haven't read Perception but I will be soon! Both of these books are now on my TBR list.
ReplyDeleteIf some non-genetically altered people can't be trusted, I'm sure the same could be true for those that are genetically altered :)
Thanks for the amazing giveaway.

ReplyDeleteI loved Perception and can't wait to read Volition!
ReplyDeleteI have not read it yet. I would worry about a genetically altered person ,until I got to know them better.DebP

I have not. Definitely interested, though! I don't think anyone should be judged based on what group they are a part of. If someone is genetically altered, they have the potential to go either way, good or bad, just like anyone else in the world.
ReplyDeleteI also don't judge books my their covers, but yours is very pretty :)
I have not read Perception, but I like the title. The cover is very nice too. I don't know why you couldn't trust someone genetically altered. I would think they could be good or bad. Would love to read the book and find out. Thanks for the giveaway.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a very exciting series! I'll have to check it out. Unbelievable giveaway.
ReplyDeleteHaven't read it yet! Congrats on the beautiful cover!
ReplyDeleteI haven't read it yet, but I have the first one and am going to read both. :) I guess it depends on how the person has been genetically altered. I might feel distrustful at first until I find out whether or not the person can be trusted.
ReplyDeleteHaven't read it yet. I think so.
ReplyDeleteI haven't read them yet but they are on my to be read list :)
ReplyDeleteI think that people should be trusted based on their deeds not on things they have no control over.
Have you read PERCEPTION? Not yet
ReplyDeleteCan Genetically Altered Persons be trusted? I don't have a clue
I haven't read Perception, It is however on my TBR list. I will have to plead the 5th on the second question until after I read the book
ReplyDeleteI haven't read it yet, but your new cover makes me want to read the series! I love anything with snow and this is so eye-catching. Congrats, Elle!
ReplyDeleteI havent read Preception yet,but i will do soon.i love the cover and that makes me feel interesting about the book.
ReplyDeleteWoot, awesome cover. I will be reading the series soon =D

I haven't read perception yet but hopefully I will soon
ReplyDeleteI feel like I should know about this series, and yet somehow I didn't until now! (Or I forgot about it!) Anything to do with genetics is awesome, so I'd better check these out ... And great covers!
ReplyDeleteI haven't read it yet, But it is on my to be read list!!! Love the cover! I can't wait to start this series!!
ReplyDeleteI guess whether or not a genetically altered person can be trusted really depends on what was altered and by whom.
ReplyDeleteI want to read it now!! interesting plot :)
ReplyDeleteI haven't read it yet, but can't wait!

I have read Ambition & Perception, both good reads! Thanks for the give away!
ReplyDeleteI've read Ambition & Perception and really enjoyed them! Looking forward to Volition coming out! Thanks for the great give away!
ReplyDeleteI haven't read Perception as yet but I would think that trustworthiness would depend on the nature of the genetic alterations and also on the psycho-social make-up of the individual.
