I'm author ELLE STRAUSS and welcome to my website!

I write fun, lower Young Adult (teen) fiction to do with whimsical things like time-travel, fairies and merfolk.

This blog is about books, mine and other fab authors', but occasionally I'll share about other topics.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

I'm signing off for the holidays. I may pop in on Twitter or FB on occasion, but this is my last blog until January 01, 2012. I don't know about you, but I need a couple weeks to process everything that happened in 2011. It certainly didn't go how I'd imagined, but do the years ever?

A recap and new plan will present itself for my blog on the first, but for now I want to take time to enjoy my family, all six of us plus my parents together for the holidays for a couple of weeks before all but my youngest leave again, and to reflect on the reason for the season.

A young Canadian musician hailing from snowy Winnipeg Manitoba recorded a unique version of Little Drummer Boy that has gone viral on you tube. I hear he now has an L.A. agent.

Here it is, so enjoy.

I wish you and your loved ones many blessings and a peaceful and joyous Christmas time.

Elle

  9. I really enjoyed that video. I watched it earlier today and thought, okay, that's all right, but then I started thinking about it and wanted to see it again. The arrangement was great, but I think what I like most about it is the visuals of him looking so happy playing those drums, and the close-ups of him singing. That smile of his really makes you like him. The whole thing works really well together. Thanks for sharing.
