Wow, hard to believe Launch Week is almost over! Today I'm at Leigh Moore’s blog where she is reviewing CLOCKWISE and interviewing me--find out why I chose Boston as my setting. I’m also being interviewed by Elana Johnson where I reveal something that most people don't know about me.
I don't know about you, but I want to get me one of these:
It's times like this that I wished I still lived in the States. Must convince Amazon that life exists north of the 49th!
How about you? Are you planning to buy a new kindle?
I'm author ELLE STRAUSS and welcome to my website!
I write fun, lower Young Adult (teen) fiction to do with whimsical things like time-travel, fairies and merfolk.
When my serious side peeks out, she's called LEE STRAUSS. She likes to write upper YA about real things that have happened in the past, or made up things that could quite possibly happen in the future.
This blog is about books, mine and other fab authors', but occasionally I'll share about other topics.
Thanks for dropping by!

The kindle Fire does look very appealing. What a great launch week!
ReplyDeleteI just got mine in July so I'm not ready to upgrade yet but I have to admit the kindle fire looks mighty tempting!
ReplyDeleteThey don't sell Kindle in Canada, really?
ReplyDeleteI have a feeling the birthday fairy or Santa is going to bring one.Not sure what sort, but I don't mind. :D
ReplyDeleteoh, man, yep. I want one of those, too. But I'm also thinking I might wait to see how the battle w/the iPad plays out first... :D
ReplyDeleteIn other news, yay! Interviews & Reviews~ <3
My wife got a Kindle six months ago and LOVES it. I have an iPad with a Kindle app, which allows me to read any books she gets I'm interested in. We both enjoy our respective toys! :)
ReplyDeleteLaura - I agree, and thanks!
ReplyDeleteCQG - I'm sure a July version works just as well. The Kindle Fire is an alternative to an ipad, which is interesting.
Angela - Oh, yes, they sell Kindle here, but we get the new stuff a month or so later. They aren't saying yet when the kindle fire will be available in Canada.
I am feeling the Kindle Fire LOVE!! I'm actually hoping to be able to gift it to my husband so he'll stop asking for an iPad, and then I can steal it away when he's at work! Woot for a great Launch Week so far!
ReplyDeleteGlynis - Always a nice gift, no matter who gives it :)
ReplyDeleteLTM - Yeah, I usually wait until the 2nd generation so they can work out the bugs, but it's still nice to dream...:)
DL - Well, you know what they say, Men are from Apple and women are from Amazon!
Elizabeth --very sneaky :)
ReplyDeleteLaunch week has been so fun, I'll be sad to see it end. :( I recently bought a Nook Color and LOVE it so I won't be buying a Kindle any time soon. ;)
ReplyDeleteHeather -- It has been fun! And Nooks are great too, don't want to see B & N disappear!
ReplyDeleteI'm kind of ticked about the timing of the new Kindles, because I JUST bought an iPad. Oh well.
ReplyDeleteI want the new Kindle Fire SOOOOOOO BAD!!! :-)
ReplyDeleteMatthew - An ipad is still a nice toy!
ReplyDeleteShannon - Then you should have one!:)
No I'm not going to but one. I still don't use my current one enough to warrant another purchase
ReplyDeleteI Heart the Kindle Fire. I still have my lowly Kindle 2. I can't bring myself to purchase another one until my first one dies.
ReplyDeleteKari Marie - Ah, kindle loyalty, I get it :)
